2586502 Primary Facility 2017-04-20 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On April 20, 2017 at 1315 hrs., the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Gregory Location in Wysox Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins, Water Quality Specialist, represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.

The site site, E&S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The slopes of the well pad were well vegetated. No erosion issues were observed. PCSM has not been addressed at the site.

Two wells were in production during the inspection. The wells were labeled and no bubbling was observed in the well cellars. Two production tanks and two GPUs were on the well pad. The production tanks were on secondary containment. Areas of rust were observed at the base of the production tanks. The Department recommends Chesapeake examine the structural integrity of the production tanks. Puddles were all low in specific conductivity. No staining was observed in the pad surface.

2700302 Primary Facility 2018-02-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On February 28, 2018, the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Gregory Location in Wysox Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.

The site sign, E & S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The site was well vegetated. No erosion or sedimentation issues were observed. PCSM has not been addressed at the site and the pad has not been reduced in size.

Two wells were in production during the inspection. The wells were tagged and no bubbling was observed in the well cellar. Two production tanks and two GPUs were also on site. Puddles on the pad were low in specific conductivity. No staining was observed on the pad surface.

No violations were observed.
