2587938 Primary Facility 2017-04-18 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On April 18, 2017, at 1100 hrs., the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Jones Location in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins, Water Quality Specialist, represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.

The site sign, E&S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The site was observed to be a mix of vegetation and rocked stabilized slopes. No major erosion issues were observed. An earthen containment berm surrounded the well pad.

Two wells were in production during the inspection. The wells were labeled and no bubbling was observed in the well cellar. Two production tanks and two GPUs were also on site. The production tanks were in secondary containment. Liquid within the secondary containment was observed to be occupying approximately 1/3 of the capacity of the structure. Conductivity readings taken from the liquid inside the containment were around 2.0 mS/cm. The Department recommends removing the liqu

2645749 Primary Facility 2017-10-11 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted Annulus vents vented to production tanks on location.

Noticed a dead bird inside the fence surrounding the wells, checked for gas around the wells with the Altair 5x multigas detector the results were zero(0).

2693561 Primary Facility 2018-02-06 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On February 6, 2018, the Department conducted a routine inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Jones Location in Standing Stone Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins represented the Department. Nobody was present for Chesapeake.

The site sign, E & S plan and weekly inspection logs were on site and available for review. The well site was covered in snow. The well pad has not been reduced in size, but PCSM infiltration berm has recently been installed at the site. Compost filter sock was installed down gradient from the berm.

Two wells were in production during the inspection. The wells were labeled and no bubbling was observed in the well cellars. Two production tanks and two GPUs were also on site. The pad was snow covered so no staining was observed, and no conductivity readings were taken.

No violations were observed.
