2636137 | Primary Facility | 2017-09-11 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | On September 11, 2017, the Department conducted a site restoration inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, IH Location in Stevens Township, Bradford County. The Department was represented by Andrew Hobbins. Nobody was present for Chesapeake. The inspection was in response to a Notice of Termination (NOT) that was submitted by Chesapeake.
Generally the well site was determined to meet the requirements of 25 Pa Code 102.22(a)(2)(I) Permanent Stabilization. The site had a uniform, perennial vegetative cover greater than 70%,with a density that was capable of resisting accelerated erosion. The well pad has not been reduced in size, but an infiltration berm was installed at the site to address PCSM. No violations were observed. Based on the conditions observed during the inspection, the NOT is recommended for approval. |
