2500772 | Primary Facility | 2016-07-08 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | On July 8, 2016, at 1325 hrs.,the Department conducted a site restoration inspection at the Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, Foster Location in Wysox Township, Bradford County. Andrew Hobbins, Water Quality Specialist, represented the Department. Nobody was present during the inspection on behalf of Chesapeake. A Notice of Termination was received by the Department on 6/21/2016.
Generally the well pad location was determined not to meet the requirements of 25 Pa Code 102.22(a)(2)(i) Permanent Stabilization. Several areas were observed to have less than 70% uniform vegetation. The Department also observed silt fence that was in place on the cut slope of the well pad location. The Department observed that the well pad had been reduced in size, but was not restored to original contours. No trash or non-essential equipment was observed on site.
