Sign and ES plan present, well staked not yet drilled. Filter fence installed surrounding perimeter of pad. Operator, contractor, and driller reviewed site and pit construction and agreed (recommended) that pit slopes be regraded in order to ensure adequate freeboard can be maintained and drilling pipe can be installed properly over pit. It was also cooperatively agreed that entire pad could be lowered in order to achieve a stable grade. Dept also recommended that operator reinforce filter fence with haybales and temporarily seed and mulch in order to sustain stability during cold months. The pad is relatively flat an accelerated runoff would appear to be minimal. Access road entrance sufficiently rocked. DEPT initialed and dated various changes noted on ES plan. A follow up inspection will be conducted early next wk to observe progression of mutual recommendations. |

At this time, site appears to exhibit 50-60% uniform vegetative cover. Therefore, during this inspection one previously issued violation is corrected, yet there are two outstanding violations that operator appears to be actively addressing. No new violations noted. |
