2505307 | Primary Facility | 2016-07-20 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On 7/20/2016, the Department met with representatives from Chief, Aaron Stredny and Keith Kimble. The land owner was also present. Chief asked to meet at the site in order to discuss reclamation options for this site. Chief plugged the 1H last fall, with the Certificate of Well Plugging having been approved by the Department on 12/30/2015. The pad is relatively small and appears to have required very little cut and fill. If Chief chooses to eliminate the pad completely, then Chief would have to re-establish E&S controls, remove all imported stone, return the site to its original contours, seed and mulch, and maintain E&S controls until at least 70% vegetative cover established. Chief also has the option to contact the conservation district and apply for a stormwater NPDES permit and fulfill the regulatory requirements for such a permit. Please keep in mind that section 3216(d) of the Oil and Gas Act requires that within nine months after plugging a well, the owner or operator shall remove all productio |
2565367 | Primary Facility | 2017-02-27 | Site Restoration | No Violations Noted | The site has been fully restored back to its original contours with greater than 70% perennial vegetation established. |
