Inspection Data

Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Category Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
1484983 Primary Facility 2005-10-06 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted This is one of Wharton's old wells, then to Mr. Khondus, then to Mr. Anderson. Diking is done around two tanks and there is a rainwater siphon hose for those, not a brine outlet. The third tank has a secondary impoundment system as its diking, which collects some water and is above a large wetland. The impoundment holds some water, but is sufficien as a buffer containment for tanks. Some years ago there occurred an overtopping spill as a result of a timer being activated for too long or by a third party (vandalism). No active spill or recent spill seen or brine bypasses. Some slow bleeding out exists which devegetates around one tank, but is above the impoundment buffer. This well may have operated 75 years ago before regulations, has original diking, and is a real estate eyesore. The sign on the property indicates the surface here is for sale by a reality.
