The well is still leaking and Mr. & Mrs. Sanders agree to clean area and apply for domestic ownership of the well. | ||||
| -375756657 | 2010-07-08 | Inspect well based on complaint #2590. 100 bbl tank. Well idle, pump jack off center. Back side of tubing has slow gas leak brining oil to surface. Oil accumulate around well head. Spoke with Landowner. Indicated the original lease was not assignable, and Terrry Rokikie may not be the legal owner to well. | ||||
| 1262032694 | 2009-12-28 | Received confidential complaint (#2590) about oil leaking on ground from well. Called landowners Pat and Larry Sanders. Mr Sanders said original owner of well Kenneth Ransbottom is deceased. There is tank full of oil at well. He could not sell oil since he is not registered owner, so nothing has been done with well. ODNR records show well was drilled in May 1984. Data lists both Kenneth Randbottom and LOR-SAN Oil Co as operators. On 7/25/1997 well was transferred from LOR-SAN to Rockwell Oil Co. Mr. Sanders claims well lease only allowed well to be transferred back to landowner. Spoke to Terry Rockiki of Rockwell Oil by phone. He does not recall details of well issue since this occurred years ago. Mr. Sanders will not allow Rockwell to access well or property. Will arrange site visit with Mr. Sanders to check well when snow cover melts. | ||||
| 1326922671 | 2011-06-06 | On site with Rob Stonerock for inspection. Well has 300 square feet of oil on ground currently leaking from tubing at ground level. Pumpjack is gone but rods and tubing still in place. I left a contact card at landowners house. I attempted to contact Terry Rokicki of Rockwell Oil Co. regarding well. Inspector Tom Benko indicated he had talked with both parties and well and lease were supposed to be transferred to landowners. | ||||

That paperwork was turned into The Division of Oil and Gas on 11-25-2013. The well is currently hooked up to the home for domestic use but needs serviced in order continue the flow of gas. Upon the completion of the transfer, Mr. and Mrs. Sanders will have the well serviced and the approximately 80 bbl tank on location emptied. | ||||
