0581532549 2016-11-15 Orphan No Violations Orphan well status inspection: Upon inspection, it is observed that this well, if present, is buried under a mound of soil which has been farmed around for many years. There are pieces of 2.375 diameter tubing laying in the middle of the mound and there is a fence post marking the location where the landowner believes the well is located. No evidence of pollution or contamination from the well are observed. New photos were taken.

1369166511 2013-03-18 Orphan No Violations My inspection is conducted this day with Josh Garland, showing me the orphan wells. This well consists of a rounded mound about 10 x 10 that has not been farmed, with a steel post sticking in the ground to mark a spot. There is 2 steel line running parallel to the ground, buried at the hole and laying on top of the ground near the edge of the mound. In talking to Mr. Yanity, he believes this is an unplugged well that has been covered up. The well records report it was operated by Henrie & Johnson who 1st leased the property in 1920 when the Cow Run (down to the No. 6 Coal) was drilled and records show the Berea was not leased and drilled until 1939. It is believed the farmer mounded it up and stuck a stake in it so he wouldnt farm over it. Pictures taken, SEM is 149.
