1640847718 2013-11-18 Orphan No Violations The Division received a landowner complaint alleging that a depression had developed on the property and casing was discovered after scraping away the dirt. This inspection revealed a depression in the ground surface of a crop field with no visible casing or leakage of fluids and/or natural gas. The depression measured 4 diameter with a depth of 2.5. A metal detector was placed over this location and indicated the potential presence of steel casing below the surface. A metal probe was then ran into the ground until solid material was encountered at a total depth of 32. The holes from this probe were also monitored with a gas meter equipped with an automatic pump, nylon line and filter to show no leakage of natural gas. At time of the inspection, oilfield debris was not observed around the immediate well location. A GPS reading was obtained from this inspection and the well location will be researched.
