0071880763 2017-10-11 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found Patterson 584 over top of the 6h well. They have not began drilling yet but will resume at approximately 1600 feet with a 12.25 inch diameter bit. Surface casing was set by falcon 26 previously. Containment appears to be in functioning order.
0937040065 2017-09-25 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I stopped to do a rig inspection. Falcon 26 moved onto location Saturday and is rigging up on the 6H well. Company man hopes to start drilling this evening.
1431660375 2017-09-11 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Precison Rathole had augured a 36 inch diameter hole to 97.5 feet. 100 feet of 30 inch diameter conductor casing was run, with two and a half foot stick up. O-tex was onsite with 360 sacks of class A cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 75% percent excess ran. Cement was displaced with 75 barrels of fresh water. Unable to tell how many barrels of cement returned to surface with the water, but cement was returned to surface. Conductor hole was completely full of water prior to starting job. Circulation was gained upon pumping.
1503685587 2017-10-26 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found Patterson 584 drilling an 8.5 inch diameter hole at a depth of 20,500 feet. Hole is drilling slower than they would like. Containment appears to be functioning properly. Went over flare notifications with compnay man.
1506433950 2017-09-26 Casing String Witnessed No Violations I am on site today to witness the cementing of the 18.625 inch mine string casing. Falcon Drilling rig 26 drilled a 24 inch diameter hole to a depth of 304 feet and set 289 feet of 18.625 inch, 87.5 pound per foot casing. O-Tex pumped 30 barrels of gel then 685 sacks of class H cement, 1.2 yield, 15.6 pound per gallon, 1.5 percent Calcium Chloride, 0.25 pound per sack cello-flake. A coal seam was identified from 249 feet to 254 feet, two baskets were set at 240 feet and 244 feet. Falcon noted they did not lose circulation while drilling. O-Tex displaced with 81.5 barrels of fresh water to land the plug. Approximately 40 barrels of cement returned to surface. The wiper plug landed and pressure was increased to approximately 500 pounds per square inch (psi) over pump pressure, the casing held approximately 724 psi for 5 minutes.
1506611108 2017-09-28 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed the surface casing cement job. Falcon 26 drilled a 17.5 inch diameter open hole to a depth of 1610 feet. Previous casing set and cemented was 18.625 inch diameter mine string to a depth of 290 feet. Wyoming casing ran 1605 feet of 13.375 inch diameter casing, j-55, 54.5 lbs/foot. Casing was centralized with 13 centralizers. Shoe track is 41 feet long. O-tex was onsite with 1355sacks of class H cement. Additives include 1.5% CaCl, 0.2% X-air, and .25 lb./sack cello-flake. Cement weighed with mudscale at 15.6 ppg and yield of 1.2. 50% excess ran in open hole. Cement displaced with 237 barrels of fresh water. 35 barrels of gel pumped ahead of cement. 80 barrels of cement returned to surface, and floats held with 1 barrel back. Mix water has pH of 7, 38 ppm chlorides and 67 degrees Fahrenheit.
2129086899 2017-10-18 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed Patterson 584 drilling at 8466 feet. Walk around the location revealed that containment appears in tact and is functioning properly. Pad drains are shut in.
