0445246697 2019-03-19 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job found the said well was spudded on 03/15/2019 by Lightning Energys auger rig. The rig drilled a 110 x 36 diameter conductor borehole with fresh water hit at 70 and a coal seam hit between the depths of 98 to 101. The rig set 110 of 26 diameter .375 wall weld connection casing with a 8 deep x 10 wide tin horn cellar set at surface. The casing was cemented using a 100 barrel cement mix consisting of 475 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 pound per gallon by weight of scale. The cement yield was 1.18. 10 barrels of cement returns were witnessed to surface inside the tin horn cellar with 1 of standing cement left in the cellar to cause a liquid tight seal at the bottom.
1558574149 2019-05-22 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On site inspection to witness the surface mine string cement job with Pioneer Drilling rig 71 on location along with Wyoming Casing and C&J Cement Service. The rig has air drilled a 24 diameter borehole to a measured depth of 562. The #8 Pittsburgh coal seam was encountered between the depths of 516 and 522 with all depths measured off a drilling rig floor heigth of 28 above ground level elevation. Upon reaching total depth the well bore was circulated with air and soap before pulling the drill string and inserting the 18.625 diameter J-55 grade buttress thread casing. The casing was equipped with a casing float shoe and collar along with 5 centralizers and a cement basket. The well bore was loaded with fresh water and the last casing joint circulated into the well bore by the drilling rig mud pumps. C&J Cement Service cemented the casing by first pumping 50 barrels of gel spacer followed by 207 barrels of cement, the cement consisted of 960 sacks of class A cement weighing 15.6 pound per gallon with the cement weight verified by weight of scale. The cement yield was 1.21. The cement was displaced to the float collar by the means of a cement rubber plug and 159 barrels of fresh water. 49 barrels of cement returns were witnessed to surface and the final displacement pressure was 300 pounds pressure. The casing was pressure tested to 743 pounds pressure upon the landing of the cement plug.
1558620930 2019-05-23 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On site inspection to witness day 2 of the well plugging process with a service rig on the hole owned by Chipco out of Zanesville. On this day the 4.5 production casing was loaded with fresh water. H2S gas was present around the well head work area. The top of cement on the cement plug was tagged by the service rig at 5,446. Due to the H2S gas and the well head conditions the decision was made to bring Appalachian Wireline Services back to location and shoot holes with explosive perforation shots to isolate the top of the Big Lime formation.
1559148518 2019-05-29 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On site inspection found Pioneer Drilling rig #71 on location and rigged up on the said well. The rig has recently completed the drilling of the 17.5 diameter 1st intermediate well bore section to a measured depth of 2,275 with the depth measured from a drilling rig floor heigth of 28 above ground level elevation. The rig then inserted 2,274 of 13.375 diameter J-55 grade buttress thread casing with a casing guide shoe and float collar ran along with centralizers on every 6th casing collar. The casing was cemented to surface with 80 barrels of cement returns reported to surface. The well head assembly is a Cactus well head assembly and crews are on site installing and pressure testing the blow out preventer. The rig and support equipment is situated on polymer containment, the well pad drains are closed and the company has crews on site hauling any surface water created during the recent rain events.
