1367901263 2018-01-29 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was to conduct a status check on well #2-1660. A review of RBDMS indicated the owner was current with reported production. Access was stable and drivable. The 8.625 well head was at grade. The 4.5 production casing was equipped with an electric pump jack. Production valves were in the open position. Staining consistent with a legacy operation was present. Fresh production fluid was present on the stuffing box and tubing head. No production fluid was collecting or migrating on the ground. A domestic supply connection was present. The tank battery was shared with 2-1676. A stable earthen dike that was free of fluid was present around the production equipment. Equipment within the dike consisted of one (1) vertical separator, one (1) 210 bbl production tank and one (1) 100 bbl brine tank. The separator remained in good repair and contained a current 31 day chart. The production tank remained in good repair and contained correct identification. Valves were closed and plugged. The brine tank remained in good repair. Valves were closed and plugged. While on location I called and spoke with Dorfman Production superintendent Paul Shaw regarding the stuffing box leak. Mr. Shaw stated he would investigate the cause of the leak and make any necessary adjustments or repairs to the well. I will schedule a follow-up inspection to confirm repairs were made.
