1553100234 2019-03-20 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the access road to the field where the well is located was blocked by a large downed tree. The well was equipped with a plunger lift. The flow lines were connected, but the valves were all closed. I found no leaks around the wellhead. The production equipment consisted of one 100 barrel steel tank and one vertical separator in an earthen dike. There was no chart in the box and the valves were shut at the separator. I found brine seeping from a plug near the bottom of the tank. There was a 2 foot diameter area of muddy, deer tracked soil in the dike, under the plug. Correct, legible identification was posted on the tank. I called Jeff Gress to report the issues and ask what his plan was. He said that he would get out there this week to clear the downed tree and get the tank drained. He said that he would either remove or turn the tank. Jeff also said that the sales lines in that area now belonged to Diversified and they werent paying him, so he had to shut the well in until he can find another outlet for his gas.
1554821474 2019-04-09 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the tree had been cleared from the access road. The tank had been pulled out of the dike and was on its side. I did not find any holes in the actual tank bottom. The soil in the dike was churned up and the dike walls had been knocked down. I spoke to Jeff Gress and he said that he was eliminating the production equipment for this well. He will be tying it in with the tank and separator at the Frank #1 well.
