0201807114 2017-04-24 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that identification had been posted on the electric box at the wellhead, and at the common tank battery. The well site still needed final grade and miscellaneous oilfield debris removed. There were no erosion issues at the well site. I called James Miller to suggest that he get the site cleaned up and graded before the field is planted. He said that they will finish all of the wells on this lease once they get the final pumping unit installed.
0422448035 2016-02-18 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Miller Oil had moved their service rig onto this well in order to equip it for production. I found a new pumping unit staged at the well.
0600667066 2016-07-14 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well had been equipped with tubing and rods, and the pump jack had been set. The lines were connected and the electric was hooked up. I spoke with James Miller. He claimed that they would have the well pumping today. He also said that they would be moving the rig to permit 7219 today.
0808002402 2012-08-27 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was drilling with a 5 bit, at a depth of approximately 450 to 475. There were no sags or tears in the pit liner and no leaks or spills around the rig. No violations at this time.
1175010661 2012-09-19 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon Kings cable tool rig was drilling on a 5 bit at a depth of 900. The permit was on display in the doghouse, there were no sags or tears in the pit liners and there were no leaks or spills.
1312273826 2017-10-20 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped with an electric powered pumping unit. The motor, drive belts and electric were intact. The flow line was connected at the wellhead and the valve was open. Correct, legible identification was posted on the electric box. The production equipment consisted of two 100 barrel steel tanks in an earthen dike that are shared by the Layman 3 through 13 wells. Correct, legible identification was posted at the tanks for all of the wells on the lease. There were no leaks or spills around the wellhead or tanks. The well site was graded out and covered in vegetation. There were no signs of erosion and there were no materials or debris left behind. The preliminary restoration for this well is complete.
1346092545 2012-08-24 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Vernon King was not drilling. Surface casing was set at 455 on 8/23/12 and the rig was shut down to let the cement set up.
1465841817 2016-06-13 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the rack of tubing was still laying on the ground and the service rig was still rigged up over the well. The site is located in an agricultural crop field. The field has been plowed and planted around the well, and the actual well site was covered with weeds. There were no signs of erosion. The well was equipped with a swage and ball valve. The valve was shut and there were no leaks. I called and left a message with James Miller. I have had previous discussions with Mr. Miller where I emphasized that the four remaining wells on the Layman lease must be equipped and put into production this year. This well was drilled to total depth, and has been shut in since October 2012.
