1458048986 | 2016-03-15 | Production Wells | No Violations | On the day of my inspection I found that the well was being produced with a natural gas powered pumping unit. The belts were on and the fuel source was connected. The polished rod showed signs of recent use. The lines were connected at the wellhead. The tubing valve was open and the gauge showed 0 psi. The casing valve was open and the gauge showed 11 psi. There were three black poly 1 lines connected at the wellhead that entered the ground in different directions. The 5.5 casing was set with a casing hanger on the 10.75 conductor. There was no casing head on the 7 casing. I found no leaks or spills around the wellhead or pumping unit. The well was being produced into one 100 barrel steel tank. The valves were equipped with plugs. A shallow earthen dike was in place around the tank. The identification sign was blank, so I filled it out. There was a minimal amount of staining under the load valve on the tank, but I found no active leaks or spills inside the dike. |
