During the inspection, a casing caliper was placed around the outside of the drive pipe and measured 10.5 diameter. This casing extended 42.5 above ground level with an intermittent bubbling of gas on the inside of casing. The fluid contained iron scales with no visual observation of crude oil. A depth counter equipped with a braided line and a 2 oz sinker was utilized for this inspection to gauge the wellbore depth through the open 10.5 diameter casing. The total depth was measured at 20 and the material that was encountered resemebled a soft clay-like material. |

There has been little to no change at the well site since the last inspection by the Division. The well consists of 8 diameter surface casing rising approximately 3 above the ground surface. Fluid level inside the surface casing is level with, or slightly above, the ground surface. Oil is present at the top of the fluid column in the surface casing. Gas bubbles periodically through the fluid and into the atmosphere. A gas odor is present around the well head, however the PhD6 gas meter did not register any ambient concentration of methane. The updated Site Evaluation Matrix score for the well is 212. Updated photos were taken. The well has been in the Orphan Well Program since 2010. |
