0886941788 | 2013-09-10 | Plug / Plug Back | No Violations | A 17.5 hammer bit was lost at 2070 and a plug was set at 2007 up to 1650 using 600 sacks of class A cement. The 13.375 casing is to be set on top of the plug. |
0891306965 | 2013-09-12 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the cementing of 1543 of 13.375 casing, this 1st intermediate string was set short due to a lost 17.5 bit at 2070. The well bore was plugged back and the casing set under the understanding it was cemented to surface and the 2nd intermediate shall be cemented to surface. Baker and Hughes used 1357 sacks of type 1 cement and saw 75 barrels of good cement returns to surface. The casing shall be pressure tested during the BOP test. The Division Deputy Chief Dave Claus and My direct Supervisor Rocky King along with the permitting section lead man Steve Opritza was aware of the casing program change. |
1375446743 | 2013-08-02 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | The said well was spudded on 07/31/13 with 100 of 24 conductor being set. On 08/02/13 I witnessed the cementing of 360 of 20 surface pipe in a 23 borehole with 3 centralizers ran and 10 barrels of good cement returns to surface. The mix water was tested and showed no chloride levels. Baker Hughes cement services were the cement contractors and Zigenfuss were the drilling contractors. |
1378736707 | 2013-09-09 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations | Inspection and status check of the drilling progress found the current drilling depth to be 2070 using a 17. hammer bit. The company man indicated they are having trouble making hole and have pulled the drill string out of the hole for a bit change. |
1378771050 | 2013-09-09 | Drill / Deepen / Reopen | No Violations
-1st intermediate short of their permitted length, cementing it to surface , They will then deviate around the lost tool while drilling the 2nd intermediate. I spoke with Dave Claus and Rocky King and we are in agreement that as long as both intermediate casing strings are cemented to surface this would be allowable. This all took place after 5pm and due to the aggressive nature of the red rock collapsing we had to give them some sort of direction to approach this matter while the hole was still workable. | |
1380183379 | 2013-09-25 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | On site inspection to witness the cementing of 7810 of 9.625 intermediate casing. Baker Hughes cement services cemented the 2 stage cement job with 60 barrels of cement returns to surface and both stages pressure tested. |
