0537851107 2018-10-15 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I am conducting a follow-up inspection in regard to an ODNR request to run a Bond Log on the 9.625 inch diameter intermediate casing cement job from 9/21/2018. On 10/14/2018 Allied Horizontal Wireline Services ran a GR_CCL_Bond Log to the top of the DV Tool within the 9.625 inch casing, and Equinor indicated the top of cement to be at a measured depth of 1,970 feet. The shoe depth of the 13.375 inch diameter surface casing was set at a measured depth of 1,885 feet. After discussions between Equinor staff and ODNR Southeast Supervisors Brent Bear and Mike Moreland, Equinor has been granted permission to proceed forward with drilling the 8.5 inch diameter production borehole to total depth. Equinor has been instructed to continually monitor and report annular pressures while drilling. It has also been requested to run a full length Bond Log of the 9.625 inch diameter casing after the wells total depth has been reached. Further procedures will be dictated after review of the Bond Log. I spoke with Equinor Company Man Colin Hecker, during the inspection. The Nabors X13 rig is currently tripping out of the hole for the BHA and will continue drilling the 8.5 inch production borehole from the top of the float collar in the 9.625 inch casing. A casing test was conducted at 3,800 pounds per square inch, with a 180 pounds per square inch bleed off. A Formation Integrity Test was conducted to 3,100 psi with 30 psi bleed off. The projected total measured depth of the production borehole is 23,259 feet.
0947305889 2019-02-25 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection during the completion process, and found Halliburton Pressure Pumping Service onsite along with Allied Horizontal Wireline. They are zipper fracing between permit numbers 4829 (SU2H) and 4827 (SU5H). I spoke with Equinor Company Man Loren Blake, and Darren Galisky during the inspection. They just perforated stage 34 of 59 with 30 shots, divided into 3 clusters. The frac plug is set at a measured depth of 16,420 feet. They are projected to commence completion operations on permit number 4818 (M5H) within the next 24 hours.
1537197437 2018-09-17 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I am conducting a follow-up inspection to an incident that was reported to ODNR Dispatch on 9/15/18. The rig took a small kick at a depth 6,735 feet while drilling on air. Approximately 1-2 barrels of fresh water misted out of the flare stack into the air, with no additional spills on the pad. The well was shut-in within approximately 15 seconds of the initial incident. During my inspection, I found no indication of pollution and contamination. The rig is currently drilling the 12.25 inch diameter intermediate borehole at a depth of 8,883 feet, with a current azimuth of 293.99 degrees and an inclination of 12.09 degrees. The projected total depth of the section is 10,020 feet. It will be noted that there is an extensive rain event currently happening, and the crew is working to evacuate any standing water from the pad, with pumps into frac tanks.
1537541616 2018-09-21 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I found the Nabors X13 rig finalizing the cement job of the 9.625 inch diameter casing with Halliburton Energy Services. I spoke with Company Man, Andy Olson, during the inspection. The 12.25 inch diameter borehole was drilled to a measured depth of 10,020 feet and the casing was set at a measured depth of 9,970 feet, with a DV Tool set at a depth of 2,217 feet. The Berea Sandstone Formation was encountered at 2,607 feet, true vertical depth. Halliburton pumped 394 barrels (1,630 sacks) of 13.5 pounds per gallon, 1.368 yield lead NeoCem cement, followed by 321 barrels (1,630 sacks) of 15 pounds per gallon, 1.106 yield tail HalCem cement. Mr. Olson indicated that gel spacer and trace cement was witnessed at surface. Halliburton didnt indicate that cement returns were witnessed. Per Mr. Olsons request, Halliburton dropped the cancellation plug for the DV Tool, and the second stage was not pumped. The plug was bumped, the floats held, and zero returns flowed back to the truck. After discussions with Southeast Regional Supervisor Brent Bear, a bond log will be required on the 9.625 inch casing to verify the cement top. The rig is preparing to skid to the next hole and return to finish the production borehole at a later date. The bond log will be run and reviewed prior to proceeding with drilling. I reiterated to Mr. Olson, to monitor annular pressures throughout all processes, and verify the pressure is at 0 psi prior to starting the production borehole.
1572633626 2018-09-11 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On this day, I am onsite to witness the 13.375-inch diameter surface casing cement job with Halliburton Energy Services. The Nabors X13 rig drilled a 17.5-inch diameter borehole to a depth of 1,935 feet from a Kelly Bushing of 32 feet. Nabors Drilling used their CRT and inserted 1,885 feet of 13.375-inch diameter J-55 54.50 lb./ft. casing into the wellbore. A pre-job safety meeting was held in the doghouse. Halliburton Energy Services initially pumped 40 barrels of gel spacer, followed by 10 barrels of fresh water. They cemented the casing with 357 barrels total volume of Class A cement with a 1.227 yield, and a weight of 15.8 pounds per gallon, verified by scale. It was displaced with 285 barrels of fresh water. The plug landed and pressured up to 1,540 psi, and held for 5 minutes. The floats held and bled back 2 barrels. 100 barrels of cement returns were witnessed at the surface.
1718790899 2019-05-15 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I found the hydraulic fracturing process has been completed, and the crew is currently demobilizing and leaving the pad. I spoke with Equinor Company Man Tyler Sanregret during the inspection. He stated that Deep Well will be rigging up a standalone snubbing unit to drill out the frac plugs, commencing the week of 5/20/19.
1770567701 2018-05-11 Casing String Witnessed No Violations Onsite inspection to witness the conductor casing cement job with Express Energy Services. On 05/08/2018 the rig drilled a 26-inch diameter borehole to a depth of 120 feet from ground level. Then, 120 feet of 20-inch diameter (I.D. = 19.124) weld connection casing was inserted into the borehole. Then, 6 barrels of fresh water were pumped ahead of cement. They cemented the casing with 48 barrels total volume of 230 sacks of Class A cement with a 1.18 yield, 2 percent calcium, 0.5 pound of poly-flake per sack, and displaced with 39 barrels of fresh water. Cement returns witnessed at surface.
2069109519 2019-02-05 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection during the completion process, and found Halliburton Pressure Pumping Service onsite along with Allied Horizontal Wireline Service. All equipment is on plastic-lined containment. They are zipper fracing between permit numbers 4828 (SU3H) and 4829 (SU2H). I spoke with Equinor Company Man Cory Duheme during the inspection. They completed stage 1 of 59, with 40 shots per stage, separated into 5 clusters, and screened-out. The dissolvable plug is set at a measured depth of 22,990 feet. Cory stated that annular pressures for the 13.375 inch diameter casing and 9.625 inch diameter casing are monitored and logged daily. The wells that are currently being completed are monitored with the Halliburton trailer, and the existing wells are monitored manually.
