The well is operated by the landowner, Kenneth Neeb, and was being pumped into a tank battery ten feet north of W. Weis Road. The production line broke where it enters the tank and one days production, approximately one barrel, spilled down the tank and into the dike area. Mr. Neeb was contacted and the well was shut down and will not be produced till properly registered and insured. The tank is scheduled to be emptied on 4-10-13 and the tank battery is to be moved to meet spacing requirements from a roadway. |
