A section below the stuffing box is bent, which may have occurred when the pump jack was removed. Records indicate that the last 2 years of production was 1998 and 2001. Moreover, it was noted that this well was leaking gas at the time of the inspection. Flowline also observed to be cut. A creek was found to be located on both sides of the well. The original lease road near McGlaughlin #8 location appears to have been washed out by the creek. Also noted was that identification was missing and the lease road will need to be graded. Several rills were observed along the lease road. |

During the inspection, it was noted that new black plastic flowline has been installed. The flowline was observed connected to the casing located on the opposite side of an existing plastic line that had been cut. This particular flowline had contained a regulator. The casing valve, on new installation side, was found open. A valve observed on the flowline that was partially buried was found closed. The new flowline is routed to a location below the tank battery and tied into an existing line. Chieftain Energy states that this well will now provide house gas instead of Permit No. 532. Mr. Doug Kitchen has stated that this well would continue to provide gas but also be pumped to produce oil. |
