Landowner wants wells cut off 6 feet below ground.

1233256688 2009-01-29 Orphan No Violations When operator excavated around 8 inch pipe exposed at surface to begin work, another 8 inch pipe below ground was discovered approximately 3 feet from the first. The buried 8 inch pipe had 6 inch and 3 inch pipe cemented inside the 8 inch. The open 8 inch at surface is a water well. Operator reached depth of 160 feet at bottom of well. Well will be plugged with cement. Operator waiting for decision from Columbus on plugging other casing since they do not have equipment for small diameter hole and would not have bid job at price awarded.
