0499149925 2015-09-25 Orphan No Violations At the time of the inspection the well was leaking gas from the 4.5 casing near the top of the 8 casing. Gas levels of 1.55 methane and 9 LEL were detected with the Division issued gas detector. There was no Hydrogen Sulfide detected at any time during the inspection.
0849085748 2015-12-08 Orphan No Violations At the time of the inspection the well was still leaking gas from the 4.5 casing where it enters the 6 casing. The gas was tested with the state issued hand held gas detector with .8 Methane and zero Hydrogen Sulfide detected. This well is under contract to be plugged by Davis Well Service for the Orphan Well Program. Davis Well Service is in the area plugging another well and should be moving to this well in a few weeks.

1378818814 2013-08-08 Production Wells No Violations Emergency responders inspected the well and contacted DOGRM. Inspected well and added well to database. Gas readings; LEL 27%: CO 2 ppm; CH4 1.85 %; H2S 0ppm. Well has 8 inch casing, 5-5/8 inch casing, 4.5 inch casing with well head heavily rusted and leaking. A 300 gallon tank with about 10 inches of oil in tank. Pump jack, rods and tubing. Recommend well be plugged as emergency program.
1382698312 2013-09-30 Production Wells No Violations An inspection revealed an idle well with no identification that was natural leaking gas from the backside of 4.5 casing. The well was equipped with a pumping unit with no power, rods, 2.38 tubing, 8.63 outside diameter drive pipe (OD), approximately 6 (OD) casing rotted, and 4.5 (OD) casing with a wellhead and set on a hangar. A production line from the pumping tee that would have been routed to an approximate 300 gallon horizontal steel tank was cut. A new valve was observed closed on the 4.5 casing and contained 1.25 plastic gas line that was routed underground. The source of the gas leak was from the backside of 4.5 casing and below the hangar. A gas meter equipped with an automatic pump, probe and filter showed a maximum LEL and a CH4 reading that reached 2.25 and no detection of H2S during the inspection. The well was situated on a property owned by Roger Bostdorff et al, located 33 from State Route 64 and designated as agricultural field with no residential dwelling on this tract. An interview conducted with the neigboring property owner confirmed the usage of propane and that no gas has ever been received since they have owned this residential dwelling. The landowner alleged that the previous owners had evidently received gas to heat their home because, Mr. Roger Bostdorff attempted to collect a gas payment for his father Charles Bostdorff (now deceased)just before they moved in 2009 or 2010. The landowner further stated that the well has hissed before and after notifying the Bostdorffs, they last made an attempt to fix the leak in 2011. This case will be discussed with Orphan Well Program Supervisor, Mr. Gene Chini.
1440606142 2015-08-25 Orphan No Violations At the time of the inspection all equipment from previous inspections was still in place and in the same condition. There was still a small amount of gas leaking from the well where the 4.5 casing meets the 6 casing. Gas reading of 44 LEL and 2.15 Methane were detected at the well, but no readings were detected at 5 and further from the well. Winds at the time of the inspection were at 12 mph from the west.
1441808250 2015-09-09 Orphan No Violations At the time of the inspection I was on location with Bryan Smith and Dave Albrecht of the Division of Real Estate. They were on location to survey the well and I was on location to provide directions and monitor gas levels during the survey. The well was leaking gas from the 4.5 casing near the top of the 8 casing. Gas level of 1.55 methane and 9 LEL were detected with the Division issued gas detector. There was no Hydrogen Sulfide detected at any time during the inspection.
1486996029 2017-02-10 Final Restoration No Violations At the time of the inspection the Final Restoration had been completed and the location of the plugged well had been farmed in 2016 by Mr. Bostdorff. Final Restoration Passed.
