The well tag was affixed to the well apparatus. The well apparatus, brine tanks and GPU appeared to be in sound condition. The brine tanks and GPU were placed in secondary containment.
2809868 Primary Facility 2018-12-04 Complaint Inspection No Violations Noted Inspection in response to a noise complaint received by the Department on 11/30/2018. At the time of inspection, the well was drilled and equipped for production. The well apparatus, brine tanks and gas production unit appeared to be in sound conduction. The brine tanks and GPU were placed in secondary containment. The Act 9 site ID sign was installed. The E&S plan was on site. The PPC plan and ER plan were on site. A contractor was on site installing chain link fence around the wet pond located near the well site entrance. No observation of accelerated erosion or sedimentation in relation to well pad or access road. The Department used the iPad, specifically the Decibel X application, to take decibel readings at the center of the well pad and on both sides GPU units. According to the Decibel X app, the center of the well pad had a decibel reading of 59.0 dB. The left side of the GPU unit the application returned a reading of 63.5 dB and the right side of the GPU unit the app returned a reading of 64.4 dB.
