2784710 | Primary Facility | 2018-10-01 | Routine/Partial Inspection | No Violations Noted | This well had been leaking in the 4 1/2" and attempted to put a band clamp on it to fix it. This did not work. So, Fredericks came in a second time and dug down and cut off the drive pipe, chiseled some cement away, and cut the 4 1/2" below the holes in the casing. Then the casing was welded back together, which worked this time. The well was in a building so I could smell gas, but it was residual and not from the well. 2 landowners from the area spoke to me and said it was fixed and the gas smell hasn't been noticed since Fredericks was in the 2nd time. Fredericks is going to be back to bale the well. Well is to be transferred to a homeowner soon. |
