2720870 Primary Facility 2018-04-19 Routine/Complete Inspection Violation(s) Noted On 4/19/18 at 1211 hrs., I conducted a routine inspection of Dannic Energy's Brandon Day 1 well (API 047-24142) in Horton Twp., Elk Co. The well pad is permanently stabilized; however a site ID sign posting the operator's contact information and well number are not present. This constitutes a violation of OGA 3211(G). A well tag is not permanently affixed to the well head. This constitutes a violation of OGA 3211(H). There is no secondary containment present around the oil/produced water tank. This constitutes a violation of 78.64(a).

In addition to the above violations, the pump jack on the well does not have a motor and is disconnected from the electrical box. If the well is not produced within one year, the operator will need to plug the well or place it on regulatory inactive status, as the well would be considered abandoned due to removal of equipment necessary for production. This would constitute violations OGA 3259(5) and OGA 3220(A).

2813802 Primary Facility 2018-12-11 Follow-up Inspection Outstanding Violations - Viols Req'd On 12/11/18 at 0827 hrs., I conducted a follow up inspection of Dannic Energy Corp.'s Brandon Day 1 well (API 047-24142) in Horton Twp., Elk Co. Of particular concern were the violations cited in inspection ID 2720870.

Upon inspection, a site ID sign had been posted at the site, resolving violation ID #814308 pertaining to OGA 3211(G). A well tag has not been affixed to the well head, therefore violation ID #814309 pertaining to OGA 3211(H) remains outstanding and is being cited again for this inspection.

This well is registered as a combined oil and gas well with the Department and as such it is reasonable to infer that oil will be produced to the attached tank, thereby requiring secondary containment around the produced fluid tank. Alternatively, the well type may be updated through the Oil & Gas permitting section to reflect that it is a gas well only, which would waive the requirement for containment. Violation ID #814310 pertaining to 78.64(a) from inspection ID 2720870 remains outstanding as is
