| 2854236 | Primary Facility | 2019-03-06 | Routine/Complete Inspection | No Violations Noted | On Wednesday March 6, 2019 I conducted a routine-complete inspection at the Pettit No. 2 Conventional Gas Well Site located in Center Township, Greene County.
The access road and the well pad were in good condition. Uniform vegetative growth was observed through a thin snow cover on the ground. The production tank appeared to be in good condition. The earthen berm secondary containment structure around the production tank appeared to be in good condition and was observed to be vegetated. Although the operator is in compliance with current regulations, they should consider using secondary containment constructed of impermeable materials. A release of fluid within the berm structure can result in a violation being issued to the operator. The gas well and associated infrastructure appeared to be in good condition and functioning properly. The well was tagged with identification. No violations were identified during the inspection. |
