2509723 Primary Facility 2016-08-11 Routine/Partial Inspection No Violations Noted Remarks: Inspection of the Donald L Fulmer well in Penn Twp. Lycoming Co. conducted August 11, 2016 at 12 pm. The well currently holds “abandoned” well status and has no plug certificate on file. The well record on file shows the well has 8 5/8” casing set to 835’, cemented with 50 sacks, and the rig drilled ahead to TD @ 2313’. The hole was logged and it was noted there was some shallow gas (estimated 90-20 MCF/D). At the time of Inspection: There was a small pull-off off 220 southbound where I was able to park and walk down in a small patch of woods where the well is located between 220 and Muncy Creek. I could not find the well based on the coordinates (41.311928, -76.63824). There was no monument in plain view. There was no gas detected in ambient air, discharge, or anything unusual at the coordinates. I plan to return in the wintertime with a metal detector to locate the well where it will be easier to locate because of all the overgrowth right now.
2682434 Primary Facility 2018-01-12 Routine/Complete Inspection Pending Routine inspection of an abandoned well. After not being able to locate the well last summer, I was now easily able to locate this well in the middle of a field West of Route 220. At the time of inspection: The well has 8 5/8" casing with an open 8 5/8" x 2" swage. There was no visual flow from the well. Approx 7-9% LEL was detected at the well. According to the well record on file: 8 5/8" set and cemented at 835', TD @ 2311', a couple small gas shows. Well owner is expected to plug well upon abandonment. Please contact me to discuss well status and future plans
