2789241 Primary Facility 2018-10-16 Incident- Response to Accident or Event In Compliance with Policy Remarks: Administrative Review of this incident revealed following ;

A spill incident was reported by the operator, Range Resources, on 8/1/18 at the Michael Brownlee well pad. An approximate 6-8 gallons of produced water was released on the well pad.

According to documentation & reports from Range - The contaminated gravel was scraped up and placed into a roll off box for disposal.

Upon review of all the information in relation to this spill incident, the operator performed the proper spill reporting requirements and has reported sufficient remediation at the area of release in compliance with the Departments current Spill Policy.

2822289 Primary Facility 2018-12-28 Routine/Complete Inspection No Violations Noted On 12/28/2018 at approximately 11:00, I conducted a routine site inspection of the Brownlee well site located in Buffalo Township, Washington County. The operator reported a slip on 12/5/2018 which occurred along the access road above an infiltration berm. During the 12/28 inspection, the following was observed:
  • The Act 9 sign located at the front entrance was in good condition.
  • All wells on site were marked and appeared in good condition.
  • Production fluid/condensate tanks within secondary containment and appeared in good condition.
  • GPUs had mechanisms for containment installed and appeared in good condition.
  • A slide was observed adjacent to the access road above an infiltration berm which did not leave the LOD.
