| Inspection this day found well on edge of old strip mine with rods and tubing, was probably produced at same time as other wells in area, not plotting very near the location on map so may not be right or may be more wells in the area.  No ID's or owner - will have to ask landowner

| My inspection this day to enter well into orphan well program.  I found well with 6 5/8" OD casing with wellhead with a piece of 4.5" casing stuck in the wellhead, standing 6' above the wellhead.  The wellhead had 2 ports, both were open and there was an oily odor around the well but no gas seen escaping.  Well has been idle for many years, location is flat but may have to cross some swampy areas and the will cross the Paw Paw Creek to get to well.  Later summer will be the best time to plug this well.  This well probably drilled in 1920's and not produced since 1940's or maybe as recently as 1970's.  There is a good chance rods and tubing also in well.  Map shows more wells on this tract but only these 2 found - other Vess wells on adjoining tracts.  Pictures taken, SEM is 139.

-1589080157 2013-04-16 My inspection this day to enter well into orphan well program. I found well with 6 5/8 OD casing with wellhead with a piece of 4.5 casing stuck in the wellhead, standing 6' above the wellhead.
