1003469256 2005-11-23 Orphan No Violations Inspection this day found well on edge of old strip mine with rods and tubing, was probably produced at same time as other wells in area, not plotting very near the location on map so may not be right or may be more wells in the area. No IDs or owner -

1458570497 2016-03-17 Orphan No Violations After viewing with Josh S., DOGRM Inspector, the Paw Paw Creek crossing for equipment to get to the well, it was decided to use the creek crossing at 39.54382, -81.37033 with access off Germantown Road at 39.54405, -81.37214. This is the current crossing Stonebridge Operating is using to get to their well and should require less work than the previous chosen crossing.

1589080157 2013-04-16 Orphan No Violations My inspection this day to enter well into orphan well program. I found well with 6 5/8 OD casing with wellhead with a piece of 4.5 casing stuck in the wellhead, standing 6 above the wellhead. The wellhead had 2 ports, both were open and there was an oily odor around the well but no gas seen escaping. Well has been idle for many years, location is flat but may have to cross some swampy areas and the will cross the Paw Paw Creek to get to well. Later summer will be the best time to plug this well. This well probably drilled in 1920s and not produced since 1940s or maybe as recently as 1970s. There is a good chance rods and tubing also in well. Map shows more wells on this tract but only these 2 found - other Vess wells on adjoining tracts. Pictures taken, SEM is 139.
1909098518 2016-11-16 Orphan No Violations My inspection today was a request to update the Orphan Well file. I found this well still idle, showing no change from the last time I inspected it. I re-measured the piping and found 8 outside diameter casing in the ground with 5 9/16th outside diameter casing stuck in the open 2-port wellhead about 10 high, possibly as a vent. There was a slight odor around the well. I found 1 plastic pipe in the area as well as steel 5 and 8 joints of pipe laying near the well. The same access will be used as for #65337 and involve crossing the PawPaw Creek. This well is further up the hill from #65337.
