1383580317 | 2013-11-04 | Received a call from the operator regarding a brine release which occurred over the weekend at the Baker #1 (#2232). The 250 barrel horizontal brine tank leaked (from an unseen hole) and released brine over the dike wall which then followed a unvegetated drainage courseway within the farmers field. Estimate of release is between 50 to 100 barrels as per operator. No crude oil was involved. Met with the farmers on location (Shoemaker and Webb) and discussed the areal extend and methods of remediation. The field was recently harvested of soybeans and the farmer plans to plant soybean next season. Mapped the lateral extend of the brine release using Quantabs, GPS locations and photos. Status: Will meet with the opearator to discus remediation. | 9-1-07
1383935593 | 2013-11-06 | The operator has begun remediation by digging a L-shaped retention ditch around the south edge of the storage dike as discussed. Reviewed overall compliance agreement with Inspector Fry and took a sample of the fluid for analysis according to ODNR procedures. Status: will continue to monitor remediation.
1384458139 | 2013-11-14 | The retention ditch is working as intended and no further remediation has been started. Status: will continue to monitor.
1391625950 | 2014-02-05 | Witnessed the operator spread agricultural lime on the affected area in the farmers field (see previous inspection). Status: Requested remediating complete, will continue to monitor.

314608412 | 2014-07-07 | Inspected the Baker #1 (#2232) as part of a standard compliance follow up. Waiting for crop growth in the remediated areas as well as the operator to close the retention ditch. Status: will continue to monitor.
440101242 | 2013-02-01 | Inspected the Baker #1 (#2232) as part of a standard productive well status check. The well is equipped with a American electric powered pump jack and the well pad is clean and free of excess contamination. The storage consists of one brown tank (#42628) and a horizontal brine tank set on gravel, a vertical separator sets west of the storage. The well identification and emergency contact information is clearly marked at the storage. Status: ok.
788256785 | 2014-02-19 | Inspected the Baker #1 (#2232) as part of a standard production well status check. Inspect well, storage and identification. Status: ok.
