1480950819 2015-04-27 Orphan No Violations My inspection was conducted in response to Complaint #5013 initiated by the landowner, Mr. Stocker, requesting that two non productive gas wells be placed into the Orphan Well Program for plugging. Mr. Stocker stated he inherited this property in the 1990s from the Renkos and that the wells were on the property at that time. Mr. Stocker recalls the Renkos had the two gas wells drilled on this property for their own domestic use. Mr. Stocker does not know the age of the wells but thinks they may be 600 feet in depth. Todays inspection of this well, which was assigned well name and number Stocker #2, for tracking purposes, shows the well is located in a 47 by 69 cement vault, 45 south of a house owned by Michele King. Mr. Stocker had also inherited the house now owned by Michel from Renkos and this well had heated this house when Renkos owned the house. Mr. Stocker sold the house to Kings and disconnected the well at that time. The well has visible 8 O.D. inch steel casing. A 9.5 inch O.D. collar is installed on the 8 inch casing. 5.2 inch O.D. steel casing is inside the 8 inch casing. A six bolt cap with a pressure gauge reading almost 50 psi is installed on the 5.2 inch casing. A 1.7 cut gas line with a shut valve is connected to the 5.2 inch casing. There are no records available for this well and this well was not shown on the Divisions well locator or on the O.F.G. maps. The above permit number was assigned for tracking purposes. The second well located on this property was assigned well name and number Stocker #1 and permit number, 007-6-0353,for tracking purposes. The well history will be reviewed to determine if the well is eligible to be plugged using Orphan Well funds.
