0975059775 | 2014-08-30 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was onsite to witness the cementing of the conductor casing. Express Energy Services drilled a 26 diameter hole to 120. Express installed 120 of 20 OD at 94lb/foot casing. No water was encountered during drilling. Express Energy Services was the cementing contractor. The cement was mudscaled at 15.6 pounds per gallon (ppg). Express pumped 48.34 bbls of cement slurry at 15.6 ppg. The cement was displaced with 39.07 bbls of water. Cement returns to surface were observed. An estimated 12 bbls of cement returned to surface. Displacement was completed at 9:32pm. |
1262844928 | 2017-11-16 | Preliminary Restoration | No Violations | I was on location to conduct a preliminary restoration inspection. The pad is equipped with nine producing wells. The well was equipped with a plunger-lift assembly. The surface-intermediate annular gauge displayed a reading of 25 psi. Jersey barriers were installed around the wellhead. Identification as posted at the access entrance, the well, and tank battery. The tank battery was dike and consisted of six 400 bbl production tanks, three labeled as containing condensate, and three labelled as containing produced water. The tanks are located within a spray-lined and sealed secondary containment. There are e-stops outside the barriers, and the tanks are grounded, and have static dissipaters. There is a truck grounding area for trucks collecting condensate and/or produced water. Lightning protection and a windsock are installed on top of the production tanks. Other production equipment on the well pad consisted of:
One low-pressure vertical separator Five line heaters Nine sand separators Nine gas processing units One combustor unit One heat treater Jersey barriers are installed around the production equipment. The entire well pad is enclosed with a six-foot high, chain link fence and the man doors were locked. Along the interior of the chain link fence there is an earthen berm and it was stable. Drainage and erosion controls at the pad are in place and functioning. A closed-loop, above-ground drilling pit system was used, so there are no earthen pits requiring closure. Preliminary restoration can be passed. |
1987866062 | 2014-11-20 | Casing String Witnessed | No Violations | I was on the Woodland # 2 - H location to witness the cementing of the 13.375 surface casing. During my walk around inspection I saw were Synthetic Oil Based Mud ( SOBM ) had been spilled onto containment in the area of the air compressor and boosters. Nomac personnel were onsite with squeegees to confine the extent of the spill. Wise Contracting was onsite with steaming and Vac trucks for recovery of the SOBM. The spill occurred when the charge pump for the mud pumps was winterized and a 4 cap was left open. The drilling rig went to load the casing in order to establish circulation and 20 barrels of SOBM was discharged onto containment. Wise steamed and vacuumed the free SOBM from around the air compressors and boosters. Recovery of SOBM was estimated at 18 barrels. The remaining 2 barrels of SOBM will be recovered when the Air package is moved off of location. This is the last hole on the Woodlands pad. All of the release was on the containment. |
