-Tex was the cementing operator. 35 bbls of gel spacer was ran, followed by 128 bbls of cement. I witnessed the cement mud-scaled at 15.6 ppg. The plug was displaced with 91 bbls of fresh water. I witnessed good cement returns in the cellar 80 bbls into displacement. I reviewed the compressive strength lab results from O-Tex, which stated that a compressive strength of 500 psi is reached at 9 hours and 46 minutes. I spoke Trevor Schaeffer on site, the engineer for Enervest, that the rig must wait at least this time before disturbing the well. | |

Schlumberger cemented the casing with 850 sack of lead ( 13.8 ppg ) cement and 890 sacks of tail (14.8 ppg ) cement. The hole was conditioned by the rig for four (4) hours prior to running the casing. Schlumberger pumped a mud flush ( 12 2 ppg ) prior to displacing the cement slurry. The wiper plug was landed at 700 psi and pressure increased to 1200 psi for five (5) minutes without any pressure decline. The flowback stopped after 1.5 barrels. All floats held. |
