0181009673 2015-02-10 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the wellhead was equipped with a pumping unit. The polished rod was dry and the unit was overgrown with weeds. The unit did not appear to have pumped in a very long time. The tank battery consisted of one 100 barrel tank and one separator. The tank battery was completely overgrown with weeds and small trees. No identification was posted at the well or tanks. The production reports are showing Greenfield Oil as the owner rather than Derrick Petroleum. I will investigate further.
0379661584 2018-01-22 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the production equipment was in a state of neglect. It was overgrown with vegetation and there was no identification posted. The well is still listed under Derrick Petroleum, but the production reports have been submitted by Greenfields Oil Company since 2004. I called Dwayne Dugan and he said that he lost that well to Green fields in a lawsuit back in 2003. he claimed that he was not aware that the well was still on his bond, even though I had contacted Travis Dugan about it in 2015. I also called Greenfields Oil and the secretary took my number to have the owner call me back.
0695189643 2019-05-23 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the pumping unit and production equipment were both overgrown and in a general state of abandonment. I spoke to Dwayne Dugan and he claimed that he wants to plug this well soon, because he wants the casing and equipment for new drilling. He said that he is reluctant to plug the well because it was supposed to have been transferred to Greenfields Oil through a lawsuit years ago, and even though it is still in Derrick Petroleums name, Dwayne is worried that he will face another lawsuit if he plugs the well without legal documentation that Greenfields is surrendering all claims to the well. I called Greenfields and the receptionist told me that Hugh Hothem was out of town, but she would pass my info on and have him call me.

1775687695 2019-02-19 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the access road was reasonably passable, although I did not find any signs of recent vehicle or ATV traffic back to the well. The well was equipped with an electric powered pumping unit. The motor, drive belts and electric line were intact. The circuit box was full of rodent nest material, and the breaker was in the off position. The flow lines were connected and the casing valve was open. There were two gauges mounted at the wellhead which both showed zero pounds of pressure. I found no leaks around the wellhead. The stuffing box and polished rod were both dry and showed no signs of recent use. The pumping unit was overgrown with vegetation and in a general state of abandonment. There was a hunting cabin on the property. I did not find a domestic gas connection from the well to the cabin. The production equipment consisted of one 100 barrel steel tank, one concrete underground brine vault, and one vertical separator. There was no identification posted for the well. The tank and separator site was heavily overgrown with thick vegetation and small trees. There was no identification posted and the tank site was in a general state of abandonment. Greenfields Oil has been submitting the annual production reports for this well since 2005. There have been zero barrels of oil and zero cubic feet of gas reported for this well since 2012. I called Dwayne Dugan to ask about the well. He said that he sold the well to Luther Hothem of Greenfields Oil in 2004, and the form 7 was never filed with the State. Dwayne claimed that he was currently working with his attorney to get the transfer completed and he just sent a signed copy of the form 7 to Greenfields through certified mail. Dwayne said that if Hothem disputes ownership then Derrick Petroleum would plug the well.
