1497032839 2017-06-09 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well was equipped as a swab well. The 4.5 inch diameter casing was swaged down to 2 inch diameter steel fittings and valves, then to 1.5 inch domestic gas line that was equipped with a regulator and drip. The lines were all connected and the valves were open. There was one 100 barrel steel tank set within 10 feet of the wellhead. There were no leaks at the wellhead or around the tank. No identification was posted for this well. No production has been reported for this well since 1989. No one was home at the property were this well was located. I spoke with the owner of the neighboring property, Chad Gress, who claimed that the well makes house gas for the Demoss home. Chad works with his father Jeff Gress as local producers under Gress Oil and Gas. He said that they swab the well, and they have not had any contact with anyone from Energy Development Corp. since 2005.
