0003666653 2018-10-16 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Bakerwell had the 1.5 inch diameter tubing ran to a depth of 3185 feet. They dug and lined a pit and brought in a 300 barrel water tank. Petroset established circulation with fresh water and circulated the oil out of the 4.5 inch casing. They pumped a bottom plug with 30 sacks of class A cement. Circulation was maintained throughout the job. Bakerwell started pulling the tubing out of the well once Petroset finished the plug.
0438086902 2019-05-14 Final Restoration No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that the well site and access road were 100% covered in well established grass. All oilfield related materials and debris had been removed. There were no erosion issues and there were no signs that the plugged well was leaking. This site passes final restoration.
1097018215 2018-10-19 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I visited the well site with DOGRM Surveyor Tom Smith to record the well location. I found that the well casing had been cut, capped and buried. The pit was closed, and the site had been graded out, seeded and covered in straw. The only equipment left was one 300 barrel water tank and the dozer. Joe Zollars of Bakerwell sent me photos of the plate being placed over the ell casing prior to covering it up.
1539789725 2018-10-17 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Bakerwell had all of the tubing pulled out of the well. They ran in with their ripping tools to part the 4.5 inch diameter casing. Joe Zollars found a good telegraph at 2300 feet and parted the casing there. Joe planned to pull the 4.5 inch casing from the well and run the 1.5 inch tubing back in to a depth of 2181 feet for the Big Lime plug. Bakerwell hauled in 225 barrels of fresh water and loaded it into the 300 barrel tank. Petroset is scheduled to set the remaining cement plugs tomorrow.
1539888445 2018-10-18 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Bakerwell had the 4.5 inch diameter casing out of the well and the 1.5 inch diameter tubing ran back to a depth of 2157 feet. Petroset established circulation and pumped a 200 foot cement plug with class A cement-2% gel. I weighed a sample of the cement slurry and it was mixed at 15.2 lbs/gal. Circulation was maintained throughout the plug. Bakerwell pulled the tubing up to 901 feet for the plug at the base of the surface casing. Petroset established circulation and pumped a 200 foot cement plug with class A cement-2% gel. Circulation was maintained throughout the plug. Bakerwell pulled the tubing up to 193 feet for the surface plug. Petroset established circulation and started pumping cement. Circulation was lost before we saw any cement to the surface. Bakerwell pulled the remaining tubing from the well and broke down the wellhead. They dropped a rock in the well and estimated the fluid top at 200 feet. Bakerwell and Petroset attempted to set a stone bridge at the top of the fluid. They bridged the well 30 feet down. Bakerwell used their stem and jars to beat the bridge downhole to 150 feet. Petroset pumped cement and filled the well casing to the surface. The cement fell approximately 4 feet down after 30 minutes and then it stabilized.
1789928573 2018-10-15 Plug / Plug Back No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that Bakerwell was rigged up on the well. They were pulling their tubing trailer into place. I met with rig operator Joe Zollars to discuss the plan for plugging the well. Joe said that they suspected the production casing had a hole in it so they were going to plug with 1.5 inch tubing. Joe started running the tubing to the top perforation at 3190 feet. The completion report with the plug permit did not specify whether the surface casing was cemented. The report showed that the well was drilled in 1983 with an air/rotary drilling rig. Joe had a copy of the ODNR record of cementing for t he 4.5 inch diameter casing. That record did indicate that the 7 inch diameter surface casing was cemented. Joe said that they are scheduled to set the bottom plug tomorrow afternoon. I worked with Joe to determine that cement top and the plug depths.
