1024850239 2019-02-25 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspections I found that there were no changes at the well site. I called Jim Adams again and spoke to him about the well. Mr. Adams did admit that the well has not produced since last year because the plunger was stuck down hole. He said that the needs to get a swab rig in to retrieve the plunger and swab the well so he can put it back into production. Jim said that he would get ahold of contractor and get the rig moved in as soon as the ground was dry or frozen. Jim called me back later in the day to tell me that he had contacted David Bonar, and he would be moving the swab rig in next week.

1550172280 2019-02-14 Production Wells No Violations I was contacted by the landowner David Apple to request and inspection on a well that he believed to be idle. Mr. Apple claimed that the well has not been produced since sometime in 2017. He also claimed that when he questioned James Adams about the well he was told that there are no plans to do anything with it. On the day of my inspection I found that the access road to the well and tanks was not passable by passenger vehicle or water truck. It was heavily rutted in some spots and there was a small tree down. Mr. Apple took me back to the site in his ATV, as the well site was more than a half mile off the road. I found that the well was equipped with a casing plunger. The valve was open and the flow line was connected. There was some dark soil around the wellhead, but there were no active fluid or gas leaks. The production equipment consisted of one 210 barrel steel tank and one horizontal separator in a shallow earthen dike. The tank was rusted and in a general state of neglect, but I did not find any leaks. The only identification posted for the well was from Stone Resources, even though Adams took ownership of the well in 2001. The annual production reports are up to date and there was gas production reported each year, with 293 MCF reported for 2017. I called James Adams to ask about the well. No one answered so I left a voice message.
1989786642 2019-03-07 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I found that there was not a swab rig at the well site, and there were no signs that a swab rig had been back to the well site. I called Jim Adams to ask what the plan was, as he had called me last week to notify me that David Bonar would be in this week to retrieve the stuck plunger. Jim said that he has not heard from Bonar, but he would call him today to get an update.
