0062325397 2019-04-30 Field Inspected, Well Not Found No Violations On the day of my inspection I met with Mike Graham to confirm the status of and assist with identifying the oil and gas wells on his family farm. The GPS coordinates stored in RBDMS were plotting in the same general area where Mike said that he remembered seeing the well casing. He said that it was an open casing that stuck up maybe 6 inches above grade, and he remembered that it was frequently hit with the brush-hog. The area was low lying and subject to flooding. Mike speculated that the casing had been covered with silt over the years. There were no oilfield related materials or debris in the area and I found no signs of a leaking well; there were no oil stains, gas odor, or stressed vegetation. I will contact the DOGRM surveyors to get a confirmation of the well location.
0581693090 2019-05-01 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I was accompanied by Division of Oil and Gas surveyor Tom Smith to locate the plugged well casing and confirm the well location. We found the open well casing that was approximately 4 to 5 inches above ground. The casing was mangled from brush-hog strikes. There was no indication that the well had been leaking fluid, and there was no odor of natural gas.
