1103401311 2018-06-29 Orphan No Violations Inspection of orphan well which was referred to program several years ago: Upon inspection, it is observed that this well is idle, incapable of production, and abandoned. The well consists of 12 diameter wooden conductor and 2.38 diameter production tubing which is likely set on a packer. There is oily debris and water present on the tubing-conductor annulus and a slight amount of natural gas is bubbling through the fluid. There is a tee with a bull plug on one fitting and 2 diameter steel flow line on the other. The steel flow line leads to a 100 bbl production tank with a small knockout tank. The 100 bbl tank is located approximately 5 away from the well. There is also an old wooden tank sitting beside the 100 bbl steel tank. Both tanks have oily sludge in the bottom of them. There is oily soil around the base of the 100 bbl tank as well as around the wooden conductor, however the contamination is not recent and does not appear to be getting worse. The well is situated approximately 30 from two small streams, one of which will need to be crossed to access the well with equipment. Photos were taken of the well location and access route.
