0009008238 2009-04-07 Orphan No Violations A follow-up inspection revealed that well status remains unchanged. The landowner would like for the well to be placed in the I/O program. He had mentioned previously that he was going to work something out with the son, David Bell. The property has been surveyed and the well is located on Lot A. The well consists of no pumping unit only 0.75 cable attached to well but cut, tubing, no rods, 4.5 or 5 csg and 8 csg. Gas leak at top of head. A 100 bbl tank along with plastic and steel line remain on property. Old lease overgrown with trees and vegetation. Trees noted as overhead obstruction at well.
1340639377 2009-12-24 Orphan No Violations An inspection was conducted to check status of orphan well. A cabin has now been built at entrance into property located along the access/driveway. The property has been broken up into lots and is for sale. The well is making gas as leak appears to derive from location between 8 csg and 4.5casing. Gas Monitor showed O2 levels to be 20.6 to 20.5. The well consists of no pumping unit, but found to contain 0.75 cable, 1.5 tubing, 4.5 csg, and 8 casing. Several sections of 2 steel line were also observed around well site to include locations along access/driveway. A 100 bbl steel tank remains on property. Overhead obstructions at the well consist of trees. Signs of old lease still remain, but vegetation has grown over majority of road. The Right of Entry form will still need to be completed by the landowner.
1544687067 2011-01-12 Administrative Inspection No Violations Spoke with the landowner, Mr. Mike Nihiser about the Landowner Right of Entry Form not being returned. Mr. Nihiser states they have prospective buyer for land and would like to see what new owners want to do with the well.
1827164755 2008-06-12 Administrative Inspection No Violations Met with landowner regarding the status of the well. The landowner states that Mr. Bell works in Lancaster, Ohio and had stated, in the contract, that upon purchase of the property, the well would be plugged within 6 months.
1947600444 2008-03-31 Orphan No Violations A complaint was received alleging non-production. The complainant believes that the owner is Bell Drilling. An inspection revealed gas bubbling around the casing (ground level). Cable was observed sticking out of the top of 2 inch tubing. Steel flowlines observed above ground. 100 bbl tank observed near the well location. GPS reading shows that this location is the Martens & Walley #2. RBDMS shows historic owner. Courthouse research will be required.
