Mr. Bud Porterfield states that he never owned this well and does not understand how it got onto his bond. Per Mike Walton with the Rocky Fork Church of Christ this well was plugged approximately 30 years ago and the approximate location of the well would be under the parking lot on the west side of the church. A water well west of the parking lot was observed. It was thought that the water well may have been the Strickler #1 and was converted from a Berea well to a water well in the past. It was determined that the water well was originally drilled for a water well as the casing on the water well does not match the casing records on the Strickler #1. A GPS reading was taken at the water well and can be located at: N 40.15065 W -82.31013. Inspection meets ORC 1509.072 requirements. |
