0431041708 2012-09-14 Production Wells No Violations The Division received a landowner request to provide assistance with the identification of approximately seventeen (17) well locations on the property. The landowners son, Mr. James Wright, stated they are paying taxes on all wells, but own only the wells equipped with pump jacks. An inspection conducted with Mr. Wright revealed that this well consisted of a pumping unit with no engine, rods and tubing. The pumping tee side of the well did not contain an attached production line. It was also noted that the immediate well location contained old shackle line equipment not currently installed. A 100 bbl tank was observed on the property. Mr. Wright was asked if this was the only tank utilized? Mr. Wright stated that the wells were never connected to a tank. Instead, his grandfather pumped the fluids from each individual well into a portable tank and would then haul to a steel tank for storage. The well location will be researched and verified with Central Office.
