Inspections Performed

Inspection ID Inspection Date Inspection Type Inspection Result Inspection Comments
0726912445 2018-06-15 Production Wells No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection per request of the Surety and Bonding section of the Division of Oil and Gas. I found the casing head visible at the surface, connected to multiple 1 inch diameter flowlines, with the valves open. One flowline runs to a drip tank near the well, and the others branch off in multiple directions. There is a 2.375 inch diameter tubing connected to a 1 inch diameter flowline, with the valve open. A pressure gauge is connected to the casing with a reading of 5 pounds per square inch. It is produced by means of a pumping unit with rods and an electric motor. The production facility is located on Wolf Pen Road and consists of (2) 100 barrel steel tanks contained within and earthen dike. The facility is shared with the owners additional wells. The well is properly identified and the production records are current. The well is registered as Exempt Mississippian. New pictures were taken during the inspection. I spoke with well owner, Bruce Watters, and he indicated that landowner, Koy Whitacre used to receive domestic gas from this well, but no longer does. He says that the line has been cut and the valve is closed.
