0264933899 2019-02-05 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I found all 50 frac plugs have been drilled out, and Gladiator Energy is currently rigging down. I spoke with EdgeMarc Company Representative Travis Bostick and he stated that tubing will be run in the well within the next couple days. Flowback will commence following the installation of the tubing. Annular pressures are continued to be monitored.
0301038317 2019-03-05 Production Wells No Violations On this day, I spoke with EdgeMarc Company Representative Fritz Oser. The drilling and completions operations are finalized. Mr. Oser stated that flowback equipment is being rigged down, and the well is being placed into production.
0394515947 2018-10-29 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I found the Patterson 714 rig drilling ahead in the 12.25 inch diameter intermediate borehole at a measured depth of 2,897 feet. The projected total depth of the section will be 8,600 feet. The rig will skid to the (1PPH) once the 9.625 inch diameter casing is cemented. I spoke with Company Man Danny Brooks, and Rig Manager Joe Wunderlich during the inspection. Danny indicated that the 9.625 inch casing will be cemented back to surface. Additionally, we reviewed when to notify the inspector, annular pressure monitoring, and incident notification protocol.
0439486993 2018-12-12 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I found the Patterson 714 rig has drilled to a measured depth 13,774 feet within the 8.5 inch diameter production borehole. The most recent survey taken at a measured depth of 13,649 feet (TVD = 9,703 feet) had an azimuth of 135.38 degrees and an inclination of 89 degrees. They are currently drilling with 13.9 pounds per gallon oil-based mud with no indication of flares. The projected total depth of the well is 17,612 feet measured depth. I spoke with Company Man Danny Brooks during the inspection.
1530766517 2019-05-24 Preliminary Restoration No Violations On this day, I am conducting a preliminary restoration inspection. The site meets ORC 1509.072(A). I found the pad fenced and gated with signage at the entrance. An earthen berm surrounds the perimeter of the pad. There are (3) producing wells, (3) gas processing units (GPU), and (3) 500-barrel and (1) 100-barrel steel production tanks within plastic lined steel containment. An Emergency Shutdown (ESD) button is present at the production facility, wellheads, and entrance. Additionally, concrete barriers surround the perimeter of the wellheads. Identification and annular pressure monitoring devices are present at the wellheads. The 9.625 inch diameter intermediate casing has a pressure of 1,250 pounds per square inch (psi), and the 13.375 inch diameter surface casing has a pressure of 1,000 psi. Additionally, this well is tied into a secondary sand trap and gas buster. On 5/24/2019, I contacted EdgeMarc Production Superintendent Mark Toplovich to notify him of the pressures.
1540384889 2018-10-24 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations
1829432303 2018-10-24 Casing String Witnessed No Violations On this day, I am onsite to witness the 13.375-inch diameter surface casing cement job with C&J Energy Services. I am accompanied by ODNR Inspector Jeff Adams. The Patterson 714 rig drilled a 17.5-inch diameter borehole to a depth of 2,050 feet from a Kelly Bushing of 26 feet. Then, they inserted 2,022 feet of 13.375-inch diameter J-55 54.40 lb./ft. casing into the wellbore. A pre-job safety meeting was held in the doghouse. C&J Energy Services initially pumped 40 barrels of gel spacer, followed by 10 barrels of fresh water. They cemented the casing with 371.6 barrels total volume (1,710 sacks) of Class A cement with a 1.22 yield, and a weight of 15.6 pounds per gallon, verified by scale. It was displaced with 306 barrels of water. The plug landed at 1,000 psi and pressured up to 1,500 psi, and held for 5 minutes. The floats held and bled back 2 barrels. 75 barrels of cement returns were witnessed at the surface.
2039015407 2019-01-25 Completion Testing No Violations On this day, I am conducting an inspection during the completion process, and found Halliburton Pressure Pumping Service onsite along with Allied Horizontal Wireline Service. They are zipper fracing between permit numbers 4843 (3PPH) and 4842 (1PPH). I spoke with EdgeMarc Company Man Travis Bostick during the inspection. They completed stage 36 of 50, with 42 shots per stage. The frac plug is set at a measured depth of 12,745 feet. Mr. Bostick stated that annular pressures for the 13.375 inch diameter casing and 9.625 inch diameter casing are monitored and logged daily.
2128046479 2018-10-10 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations On this day, I am conducting a follow-up inspection to the 20 diameter conductor cement job that was initially pumped on 10/5/2018. I spoke with Edgemarc Drilling Consultant Duane Goodsell. He indicated that the cellar floors will be grouted within the next 24 hours.
