0113166909 2017-12-15 Production Wells Violations Noted The purpose of my inspection is due to a complaint # 5761. Kathy Richards of Re--IR 2:00+, CO was at 2, H2S was at 0. The legal explosive limit was maxed out. There will need to be a mechanical pop off device installed or an appropriate flare. There is an electric motor that powers the unit. There is a new shared tank site that consists of [[5]100 barrel steel tanks and [-off. The company has 5 days to install all bull plugs and locks on equipment. The company has 5 days on the contamination clean-up. Please contact the Inspector when work will be executed.

There has been no change at the well head. The well is still open to the atmosphere. The company had 5 days to install the bull plugs and appropriate flare or mechanical pop-off device. The identification is posted at the well. The company and I talked on the phone about getting the tanks out that are not being used. The tank farm being used will be move to appropriate distance between tanks in warmer weather. The company stated that they would install a flare. I called company for the second time on this date of 1-3-18. I had a phone with Duane Dugan. Duane Dugan stated that he will have a Scott Hughes to cut tanks and haul away. He will be in to well within 2 days to get buttoned up with the bull plugs and mechanical pop-off device. He said he will call when the work is completed.
