-inch open hole was drilled to a depth of 361 feet. The 7-inch 17lb per foot casing was placed at 358 feet and hung in the slips and bowl at the rig floor. The pipe was centralized with 3 -7-inch centralizers. The bottom of the casing had a 7--barrel cement returns. The casing collar popped off and the displacement fluid flowed back a little. The rig went in and tagged the plug at 200 feet. I calculated the back side to be at 128 feet down with the total of barrels of slurry being at 23 barrels minus 5 barrel of returns. The company was instructed to let the cement cure and top back side of the 7-inch casing with a Portland cement and sand mix. The weight would be a 17lb per gallon. Approximately 1 1/2 yards yard will be needed.
