0738631137 2017-03-15 Production Wells No Violations The pad name is JR Byler and it consists of 7 wells. The purpose of my inspection was a status check. During my inspection the well was equipped with a production tree style wellhead with valves in the open position. Gauges present read 300 pounds per square inch on the casing and 280 pounds per square inch on the tubing. Annular pressure monitoring was present. The production equipment consisted of seven gas production units, twelve 400 barrel tanks, three compressors, and two combustors. Identification was present and production records were current.
1083709292 2014-09-15 Casing String Witnessed No Violations I am onsite to witness the surface casing string cementing operations. The drilling rig Patterson 316 lost circulation while the cement crew was staging their equipment. A natural fiber lost circulation material sweep was pumped into the well bore and circulation was regained. Allied Oil and Gas Services ran a 25 barrel gel spacer and 153 barrels of class A cement. I witnessed Allied test the cement weight at 16.0 pounds per gallon with pressurized cement scales. Corrections were made to the mixing equipment and the cement weight was brought down to 15.6 pounds per gallon.
1389169389 2017-10-17 Production Wells No Violations The purpose of my inspection was a status check on a production well. The pad name is JR Byler and it consists of 7 wells. The well was equipped with a production tree style wellhead with a plunger lift system. Production valves were in the open position. Gauges present on the annulus read 0 pounds per square inch. The gauge on the production casing read 450 pounds per square inch and the gauge on the production tubing read 280 pounds per square inch. The production equipment consisted of twelve 400 barrel tanks within steel line containment and seven gas production units. A vapor recovery system to capture tank vapors consisted of one compressor and two combustors. The pipeline tie in was located on the North side of the pad. Pipeline contractors were in the process of launching a pig during inspection. A dust suppressant had been recently applied to the lease road. The identification was located at the wellhead and the production records were current.
1402243557 2018-11-27 Production Wells No Violations On the day of my inspection I witnessed that the well was equipped with 5.5-inch diameter production casing and 2.875-inch diameter tubing equipped with a plunger lift system. At the time of my inspection annular pressure monitoring was in place, and the 13.375-inch diameter casing had 0 pounds per square inch, the 9.625-inch diameter casing had 0 pounds per square inch. Production equipment included a Gas Processing Unit, as well as 12- 400-barrel steel production fluid tanks, and 2 combustors that were shared with the other producing wells on the pad. There was secondary containment around the production fluid tanks, and the Gas Processing Units. There was a midstream valve site on the northwest side of the pad. The well pad was contained within an earthen dike, there were multiple Emergency Shutoff Devices on location. Identification tags were present, and production was up to date.
1405229876 2014-07-13 Casing String Witnessed No Violations The said well was spudded on 07/11/2014 by Express Energys top hole rig with 100 of 32 diameter conductor borehole being drilled with freshwater being picked up while drilling at 32. Express Energy cement services cement the .375 wall x 26 x 100 conductor pipe on 07/13/14 using 100 sacks of class A 2% calcium .50 pps flake using 100% calculated open hole excess of cement with 55.74 barrels of freshwater displacement and 25 barrels of good cement returns to surface.
1435901345 2014-09-24 Drill / Deepen / Reopen No Violations I stopped at the rig and picked up cement information from the 9.625 casing string.
1446033924 2015-10-28 Production Wells No Violations On this day while traveling in the area of the Byler well pad at 7:15 am I noticed the vapor recovery burner units were showing fire out of the top of 3 of the 4 units on the Byler Well Pad. I proceeded to the well pad and found a Myers Water truck driver to be the only personnel present on the location. I alerted that individual to the threat and secured the location and alerted Anteros personnel of the situation at 7:30 am. At 7:42 am Antero Personnel Andrew Hanninum and John Horn arrived and addressed the issue indicating that the high pressure gas recovery compressors that recover the vapors from the vapor recovery towers had shut down causing excessive vapor content to be dispersed into production tanks and then feeding over into the vapor recovery burner units. The compressors were started back up and the issue resolved. Also noted the vapor recover burner units are a company installed redundant safety device to avoid excessive gas to be dispersed into the atmosphere.
