1824529299 2015-04-17 UrbanProduction Wells No Violations I inspected this well at the request of the City of Akron Water Department for any compliance issues. This well is operating with the aid of a concoil lift system. The ID is posted at the wellhead, is missing some required information, and the emergency number is partially covered by a pipeline sticker. The well is fenced but the man door is not locked and there is a chain with a rusted lock hanging on the gate. The well is currently producing and I found nothing leaking. This well produces to a tank battery 0.2 miles due east of the wellhead and is shared with PN# 22218. The tank battery is fenced, locked and properly diked. ID signs are posted at the tank battery. Some of the top fence rails have come apart and I will ask Enervest to repair these. The tank battery contains 2-210 barrel tanks, 1-100 barrel tank, 1-50 barrel poly tank, and two (2) horizontal separators. Peatsorb has been placed on the ground below both pick-up line valves at each 210 barrel tank to soak up incidental liquid spilled during hauling operations. The affected areas are less than a foot in diameter and are not causing pollution or contamination. I will ask Enervest to clean these areas and require that their water/oil haulers use pads during hauling operations and remove the pads after pick-up. I will also instruct Enervest to post a new ID sign at the wellhead and place a new lock on the man door. No violations.
